How To Lose 7 Pounds in 7 Days

How To Lose 7 Pounds in 7 Days (AND KEEP IT OFF!) *2020 EDITION*

2020 UPDATE (QUARANTINE-15 EDITION): I originally wrote this article, “How to lose 7 pounds in 7 days”,  for Red Supplements back in 2018. Red has since shut down but this information is needed now more than ever.

This year has been insane, but America is FINALLY getting back to normal. After being stuck inside for the past 3 months under quarantine, most people’s waistlines are not the size that they want them to be. Myself included.

There’s NO TIME LEFT to prepare ourselves for summer. SUMMER IS ALREADY HERE. If you don’t want to be that guy/gal with their shirt on at the pool/beach then NOW is the time for some drastic action.

I just have one question for you…

How would you like to lose 7 pounds in 7 days AND KEEP IT OFF?

I’m guessing that you would like it very much.

Who wouldn’t?

Losing 7 pounds in 7 days is serious progress in a very short time frame. It’s a complete body transformation in only 1 week.

Best of all, you can achieve these results without starving yourself or making yourself run 20 miles a day until you feel like you are about to drop dead.

However…that doesn’t mean this is going to be a walk in the park.

Serious results require serious effort.

There isn’t some “secret” where if you wish upon a star every night before you go to bed you’ll magically wake up skinner.

It takes work and it takes effort to get there.

More important than that, it takes DEDICATION and a BELIEF in yourself that you can do this.

I’ve done it.

So have thousands of other people.

I know that it works and I’m going to tell you exactly what you need to do to make this happen.

How To Lose 7 POUNDS In 7 Days: The Diet

What you eat is the single most important factor when it comes to gaining or losing weight.

I’m not talking about calories in and calories out.

Counting calories works but it’s the slow-lane method of gaining or losing weight.

Right now we don’t want to lose weight slowly.

We want to trade-in serious effort for serious results ASAP.

So here’s what I want you to do for the next week…

Take everything you know about nutrition, dieting, and counting calories and throw it right out of the window.

We’re switching things up.

You’re going on the Carnivore Diet.

What Is The Carnivore Diet?

The carnivore diet is a ZERO CARB DIET.

It takes all of the ‘accepted’ thoughts about nutrition and dieting and throws them in the trash.

There are only a few types of food you can eat while on the carnivore diet, but you can eat as much of them as you want.

I’m not joking.

When you are on the carnivore diet, you eat until you are full and then you sit back and watch as the fat melts off of your body.

No more counting calories, no more starving yourself.

You give your body what it craves (MEAT) then you sit back and watch as your body quickly transforms.

What Do You Eat On The Carnivore Diet?

The Carnivore diet is the simplest diet in the world.

Here’s what you will be eating over the next 7 days:

  • Meat: Beef, Pork, Chicken, Fish, Lamb, Bacon, etc.
  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Butter
  • Animal fat

Here’s what you won’t be eating over the next 7 days:

  • Carbs
  • Vegetables
  • Fruits
  • Everything else

How Does The Carnivore Diet Work To Lose Fat?

By eliminating the fat-gaining process that happens every single time you eat carbohydrates, the carnivore diet puts your body into 24/7 fat burning mode.

Let me explain…

Here’s what happens after you eat carbs:

  1. Your body breaks down these carbs into sugar
  2. Your body releases insulin to balance out the of sugar in your blood (Because too much sugar in the blood = death.)
  3. Your body fills up your liver with glucose
  4. After your liver is filled up with glucose (about 120g) all of the extra sugar is turned into fat
  5. Your body stores the fat around your body to use for energy later

Now, while your body is doing all of this, do you know what your body is not doing?

YOUR BODY IS NOT BURNING ANY FAT! IT’S ONLY STORING MORE BODY FAT!

When you are on a ZERO CARB DIET such as the carnivore diet, you eliminate the ineffective carbohydrate process from happening at all.

Instead, your body just takes in the fat you eat and immediately starts burning it for fuel.

After it’s done burning through what you’ve eaten, it immediately switches over to burning the stored body fat that you have for fuel too.

Carnivore Diet Means Your Body Is Burning Fat 24/7!

This leads to incredible amounts of weight & fat loss extremely quickly.

Over the past 2 years I’ve gone on and off the Carnivore Diet many times. Each time that I do it I’m amazed at its effectiveness.

It’s important to remember that the carnivore diet is a high fat, moderate protein, and ZERO carbohydrate diet.

While eating steak, eggs, and butter is the easiest way to follow this diet, you are free to switch things up and eat whatever types of allowed food that you like the most to hit your daily goals.

Counting calories is not the most important thing on the carnivore diet, knowing what your macronutrient spread for the day is the most important thing.

The only thing that you really need to focus on is the fact that you are eating enough FAT & PROTEIN every single day.

Everyday 60% – 80% of your daily calories should be coming from FAT. The other 20% – 40% of your calories should be coming from PROTEIN.

**Above is a good daily Fat/Protein spread to shoot for. This approximately accounts for 2,418 calories.**

In an ideal world your Carbohydrate count should be at 0% & 0 grams for the day. But this not always possible.

As long as you are staying at or under 5g-10g of carbs per day you should be good to go!

This is easier said than done.

Luckily there are many things that can help you on your journey.

Download and use the free app MyFitnessPal to easily keep track of all the food you are eating and your ratios of fat/protein per day.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how you get it done, as long as you get it done.

How Can You Expect To Feel During This Week?

If you’ve never done Carnivore before it’s going to be rough.

Your body is undergoing a massive shift in what food (fuel) you are providing for it.

The sad truth is that most people in the world are addicted to sugar. You probably are too.

Those first few days, you may experience some intense sugar cravings.

IGNORE THEM.

Nothing of worth in the world is gotten for free.

It takes hard work, determination, and standing up to those demons in your head that are telling you to quit.

IGNORE THEM. EAT SOME MEAT.

Once you get over that initial hump of your body running out of sugar/carbohydrates for potentially the first time ever, things will go a lot smoother.

You WILL see drastic weight loss almost immediately.

Within 24 hours, if you followed the program correctly and didn’t cheat, you will lose a few pounds right off the bat.

Each day that you continue you will continue to lose more and more weight.

This isn’t just “water weight” as it is so often referred to.

You are literally retraining your body to burn fat for fuel first and foremost. After the first 2-3 days the rest of the weight you are losing (50%+) is coming directly from the fat stores of your body.

(TIP: Make sure that you drink plenty of high-quality H2O while on this diet.)

Don’t believe me?

Take pictures of yourself in the mirror every single morning after you wake up and weigh yourself.

After 7 days you will be AMAZED.

Aside from the drastic weight loss, here are some other added benefits that I noticed after going on the carnivore diet:

  • Energy levels increase dramatically and stay steady throughout the entire day. No more afternoon energy crash.
  • Once the initial sugar cravings are gone, hunger cravings typically disappear. Eating fat & protein is very filling. You’ll be surprised at how your body will only want to eat 2/3 meals a day max.
  • Sleep quality is greatly increased. No more tossing and turning throughout the night. No more waking up groggy and tired. When it’s time for bed you fall asleep and stay asleep.
  • Skin quality improves. After a few days, your skin starts to clear up. Acne, redness, and eye-bags slowly start fading away as your skin takes on a fresh, healthy, glow.
  • Your digestive system is reborn.  You poop less, fart less, and everything runs a lot smoother as meat & fat are broken down processed by your body very efficiently.
  • You become more muscular and vascular.

Optional Supplements To Help You On Your Journey

If this is the first time that you have ever done the Carnivore Diet then I highly recommend you purchase some supplements to help you get through it.

Why?

When going on the Carnivore Diet you are going to be massively increasing the amount of dietary fat that you are eating. Most people eat around 10-20% fat daily, you will be increasing it to 60-80% fat daily.

This means your liver is going to be kicked into overdrive creating bile to break down the extra fat you ate. This can cause some stomach issues like pain/diarrhea. Taking a few supplements in the beginning really helps out your liver and helps to reduce these issues.

I’ve put down 3 of my favorite supplements below (Amazon Affiliate Links):

1 – Lipase Supplement / Digestive Enzyme Supplement

  • Lipase is the enzyme that breaks down fat. Very useful to have more of it on Carnivore.

2 – Ox Bile Supplement

  • Bile is the stuff your liver makes to break down & absorb fat. Think of this as extra ammo for your liver. Very useful

3 – Snake Juice (OPTIONAL)

  • Some people will get dehydrated or low on some vitamins/minerals while on carnivore. This is a big reason why a lot of people feel crappy while doing carnivore for the first time. This will prevent that.

Wrapping Things Up: How To Lose 7 Pounds In 7 Days

Would you like to lose 7 pounds in 7 days?

Here’s what you need to do:

1) Re-read what I wrote above

2) Create a carnivore meal plan for 7 days

3) START FOLLOWING THE PLAN TOMORROW!

At the end of the day, nobody is going to do this for you.

Are you willing to put in the time, effort, and dedication it requires to make some drastic changes to your life?

Or would you rather be a nay-sayer and think of 1,000 ways of how it’s not going to work?

Whichever one you choose, just remember, it’s your decision, and it’s YOUR LIFE.

I’m just here to help.

Tomorrow morning, you can wake up and continue living the life that you always have.

You can struggle out of bed in the morning, eat the same breakfast, do the same job, eat the same lunch, and eat the same dinner as you have 1,000 times before.

-OR-

You can decide that tomorrow is a new day. You can start yourself on the carnivore diet and be amazed as your body literally begins to transform day after day.

It’s only 7 days.

You can make it through 7 days.

Anyone can make it through 7 days of a new diet.

If at the end of 7 days it sucks and you never want to do it again, at least you tried it. At least you gave it a shot.

But if at the end of 7 days you lost 7+ lbs and you feel and look better than you have in years…

Then it will have all been worth it, wouldn’t it?

P.S. I do offer a 30-day Carnivore Diet Guide & Meal Plan where I walk you through the entire process of doing the carnivore diet for 30-days. If you’re interested, contact me.

  1. Been doing this diet for 3 days and I m already down 6 pounds. I m curious to know how well you guys retained your gains after going back to a diet with carbs. I know that some of the weight I lose will likely come back, but I m interested to see what you guys experienced.

    1. Great to hear, Kelly! Typically the weight loss in the 1st week is primarily water weight and some fat loss. I would say if you are to lose around 7 lbs in 1 week, you can expect around 1.5 – 2 of those pounds to actually be fat loss. This is largely dependent on how much you weighed & what your body fat % was before starting this. The higher BF % when beginning, the more fat loss happens faster.

    1. Hey Chil,

I think a lot of people are thinking/feeling the same thing right now, it’s time to lose some weight ASAP. I know you can do it! Send me an email and let me know how it goes!

  2. Hi Steve,

    My name’s Randy Park.

    I live in Vancouver, Canada.

My close friend, his family owns a vitamin processing plant in this area.

I’m interested in bringing Red Beast back with pretty much zero changes other than marketing, along with other best selling products.

I’m a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada that’s fallen on hard times, that has been clawing myself back to respectability, my real name is Randolph Park.

If you would like to explore, all I can offer is that I’ll get a hold of the former COO and ask him to ask his Dad if he’s interested in carrying on the legacy.

    Cheers
